Providing luminescence typically exceeding 500 lux at the desktop, the ceiling lighting is an integral part of a linear ceiling system incorporating air-conditioning inlets and outlets as well as sprinklers.

Air-conditioning System

Hang Seng Bank Tower incorporates a floor-by-floor air-conditioning system that enables individual control of heating and cooling for each floor. Each floor was divided into four zones, with interior air-conditioning provided via a four pipe system. Perimeter air conditioning is provided by fan coil unit system that allow Tenants setting any desired warm and cool temperature throughout the year and make adjustments during extended work hours or other circumstances.
Chilled water is supplied around the clock via four outlets on each floor, allowing tenants to install additional fancoil units in designated areas required heavy cooling capacity.

The building's safety control center

Security System

The building's safety control center is equipped with a computerized central command and control system. To ensure the highest standards in safety and security, CCTV cameras are installed in lift lobbies and other key locations, IC card access system are required during after-hours at entrances.

Double-deck lifts were installed to carry more passengers in a single trip to reduce travel time during morning and lunchtime rush hours.

Electrical Facilities

Each tenant has right to access a dedicated EPS that provides the capacity to connect internet networks covering their office unit. Office premises are equipped with both 220V (30 VA/sq.m.) and 100V (10 VA/sq.m.)outlets. To safeguard against power failures affecting the entire building, Hang Seng Bank Tower is equipped with two separate power supply lines. An emergency generator was installed to provide backup power in case of fires or other disasters.

Fire-prevention Facilities

Each floor is fully covered with fire-prevention devices, including automatic smoke detection alarms (photo-electric type smoke detectors), emergency public announcement speakers, and fire-sprinklers. Smoke exhaust pipeducts with plenum chambers are fitted inside the false ceilings covering all office areas.
